MunJob Oy got the international recruitment coaching it needed

Planning session on the table

The Solutions to labour shortage -training provided tailored international recruitment coaching for MunJob Oy, says Janne Kyllönen.

International recruitment is a special field of the future

Work in Finland's Solutions to labour shortage -training is a basic package for international recruitment for all SMEs that want to master the basics of the recruitment process or need a sparring partner and deepening of skills.

The Confederation of Finnish Industries estimates that the number of people of working age in Finland will decrease by approximately 130,000 by 2030. Unless the skills shortage is solved, business growth will stall, and the supply of services will decline

MunJob Oy, a recruitment and software company, joined the coaching to seek sparring to strengthen their existing skills.

"My own international work experience and working in the recruitment industry made me want to participate in the coaching. I can see that international recruitment is a special field of the future. It’s worth taking all the lessons and perspectives on the subject," says Janne Kyllönen, Managing Director of MunJob Oy.

"The coach had a lot of experience in international recruitment, and he offered us excellent advice and insight into where we should focus our efforts," Kyllönen continues.

"The coaching provided us with excellent advice and insight into where we should focus our efforts."

International recruitment skills also brings business value

"The coaching was a positive experience, and it was tailored to our needs. And even though I consider myself a recruitment professional, I found the coaching useful because it provided real added value and insights," says Kyllönen.

Kyllönen also feels that MunJob Oy gained new perspectives on strengthening international skills and recruitment. He believes that in the long term it will bring business value to the company.

Kyllönen recommends training for recruitment professionals who have worked mainly with Finns and for companies that realistically have the resources to take on foreigners.

And what does Kyllönen have to say to companies that want to develop their international recruitment skills or need encouragement to hire international talent?

"When you hear the news that there is a great need for foreign labour in Finland, every company should look at this with open eyes. And if the company is exporting, it's a very good idea to hire an expert from the target country."

Work in Finland's free Solutions to labour shortages training offers SMEs a low-threshold opportunity to learn about the international recruitment process in a practical way. The training does not commit companies to recruitment or the purchase of services. A simple interest in international recruitment is enough.
